Who we are

BirthBreeze is made in Estonia.

What the app stores on Your device

To work the way You set it up, BirthBreeze saves the following on Your device only:

• Your first name, if You choose to enter one, so the app can address You in its messages;
• Your settings: language, who is with You (alone, partner or support person), breathing rhythm, number of sets, colour theme, and whether affirmations, voice and background sound are on;
• the times at which You completed breathing sessions, used only to show the "sessions in the last 48 hours" counter.

This information is kept in the app's private storage on Your device. We do not receive it, we cannot see it, and it is not sent anywhere.

What we do not collect

• No account, email address or login is needed.
• No analytics, advertising, tracking or profiling tools are used.
• No third-party software that collects data is built into the app.
• The app does not ask for access to Your location, microphone, camera, contacts, photos or Apple Health data.
• The app does not need an internet connection. Your data, preferences and settings stay on Your device, even when You're offline.

Purchases

If You buy the lifetime license to unlock the extra features, the payment is handled entirely by Apple through the App Store. We do not receive Your payment details or Your Apple Account details. Apple may give us sales reports that do not identify You personally.

How long data is kept and how to delete it

Your data stays on Your device until You remove it. You can clear Your name in the app's settings at any time, and deleting the app removes everything it stored. Because we hold no copy of Your data, there is nothing on our side to delete or export.

Your rights

Under data protection law, including the EU General Data Protection Regulation, You have the right to ask what personal data a service holds about You, to have it corrected or deleted, and to notify a regulator. Since BirthBreeze does not collect or receive Your personal data, we hold nothing to provide, correct or delete. If You are in Estonia, You can notify the Estonian Data Protection Inspectorate (Andmekaitse Inspektsioon, aki.ee).

Children

BirthBreeze is made for adults preparing for or going through childbirth. It is not directed at children, and we do not knowingly collect any information from them.

Health information

BirthBreeze is a relaxation and breathing tool. It is not a medical device and does not diagnose, treat or monitor any condition. It does not read or write Apple Health data. It is not a substitute for advice from Your midwife, doctor or other healthcare provider.

Changes to this policy

If the app changes in a way that affects Your privacy, for example by adding a service that collects data, we will update this page and the date above before the change reaches You.
